Dozens of diplomats from 15 countries, including Argentina, Croatia, South Africa, Morocco, Mexico, Peru and Cuba, participated in the 2024 "Discover China Cultural Tour" of Guizhou for Diplomats in China & Guizhou Village Super League, co-organized by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Argentine Embassy in China, from Sept 26-29.

In Guiyang, they visited the Jiaxiu Tower, a famous ancient pavilion, and checked out the bustling Qingyun market, a tourist attraction renowned for local delicacies and intangible cultural heritages. While in Rongjiang county, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture, they visited the Dali Dong village, where they marveled at its centuries-old architecture and learned how the Dong cloth, a traditional handmade fabric, was produced.
