The China Daily Global Impact Writing Challenge
Introduction
The China Daily Global Impact Writing Challenge (China Daily GIWS) reaches out to young people of different ages in elementary, middle, and high school, aiming to direct their attention to global issues and develop their global perspective. As for the future of the world, they should be aware of the future crises and opportunities facing the world.
In the challenge, we not only hope that young people understand the importance of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), but also encourage them to think independently and take actions. We believe that young people should not only understand these concepts but also have their own views and insights.
We sincerely invite young people from China and overseas students to participate in this challenge, and to think about how to influence the world from the perspective of being a global youth after sufficient research. We hope that young people around the world can have a broad world vision and perspective and contribute to building a better future in today's globalization.
Purpose
The theme of the writing challenge will revolve around young people and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and a different theme will be determined each year to stimulate the thinking and creativity of young people.
